My son rents an apartment by the week. He has gotten behind in his payment. How long does the landlord have to give him to move?

If your son has a lease, the terms of the lease dictate the amount of notice before the landlord can file a dispossessory. If there is no written lease or if the lease is silent, the landlord must give 60 days demand for the premises before he/she can file a dispossessory.
