Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Renters conduct

I rent a home from my Mother-In-Law. My wife has been convicted of selling drugs from this house. My mother-in-law tells me I must move because she may loose her property. My mother-in-law had no knowledge of her daughters actions. My question is: can my mother-in-law loose her property in this case?

Thanks

Depending on the facts, there is a chance that your mother-in-law could lose her home. She needs to seek counsel in the event that she has not done so. Eliminating you from the premises may be an action that is in her best interest depending on the facts of the case.
