Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Are They Ripping My Mother Off

My mother was living in a Christian Home made up of apartments, which you had to buy. When she moved out the contract said that if the apartment did not sell within a year they would start paying her back. She moved out in Dec 2000 after signing the paperwork in November of 2000. They did not startpaying her back until June 2002. They had found someone to rent the unit and paid her until they started paying her back for the unit. I feel that since the title does not revert back to the home until the final payment is made, that she should be intitled to the rent money also. Am I right or wrong?

This is impossible to answer without being able to review all the documents involved. I would advise you to consult with a local attorney.
