Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Sale of Property-Power of Attorney
I am located in Alabama and wish to give a power of attorney to a relative to act on my behalf in sale of a property in which I have partial ownership in Georgia. Do I use Alabama or Georgia form of Power of Attorney?

Re: Sale of Property-Power of Attorney
If the owner of the property is located in Georgia and the property to be sold is in Georgia, Georgia. But I would consider using both if there is a difference.

All you have to do is reference that the power of attorney "shall be effective as to property of the undersigned, no matter where located."
