Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Seller didn't disclose Roof Problem/leak

Purchased a home in Nov 2003. After recent rains, roof leaked through--name removed--ceiling. We investigated the problem starting with the attic (we had not been in the attic since we purchased the house, but we did go into the attic during the 2 inspections). Immediately upon entering attic and approaching area near suspected leak, we find a bucket and towels left by the previous owners/sellers under the leak--name removed--catch incoming water -- neither bucket or towels were there during either inspection or walk-thru. A roof leak or probelm was not disclosed in the purchase/sale agreement or addenda. Do we have legal recourse w/sellers, inspector, or lender?

Re: Seller didn't disclose Roof Problem/leak

If the seller didn't disclose the leak and they knew about it, then you would have a case against the seller for fraud for failure to disclose a latent defect.
