Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
Can the seller teminate the agreement to sell a house?
We are nearing closing on a single family home. We have hear the seller wants to terminate and renegotiate the sale price. Can he terminate after all inspections have been performed and the due diligence period has expired? I have read the contract and see nothing to suggest he can legally do this. Please advise.

First year law school teaches us what you already know: a contract is a binding agreement and cannot be breached (broken)without consequences. HOWEVER,sometimes contracts have "out clauses" that allow either party to get out of the contract. Consult with a local attorney. Have your contract fly-specked.
