Signed someone on my property deed under extreme duress and on medication
I bought a home, at the closing table I put a friend's name on my closing papers because I was facing several surgery's and was told if I died during surgery my ex.wife would get my home/property. This person made a promise if I died that she would make sure my two children would get my home/property when they were of age, so I added her. I made it through the surgery but now this person is refusing to sign a quit claim deed to sign the home back to me. If I can prove I was under extreme duress and of medication everyday for 3 years will that help get her name off my property/home? I was also under psychiatric care and meds because I mentally wasn't dealing well with not being able to work.

However, generally, geing talked into a bad decision because you were "under stress" is not generally going to invalidate a contract. The standard is closer to an inability to even understand what you were doing in the first place, and an inability to handle your affairs and yourself on a daily basis. From your post, you got bad advice and knew what you were doing and why - it just turned out to be horrible advice you should have never taken.
