Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
co signer on home
My mother was co-borrower on my home. She passed away three years ago with no will. I can not get any help in this matter....how do I get my mother's name off the deed so I can sell my home? The probate court here in Paulding county seems to know less than I do. Thank you.

The probate court is not obligated to give individuals legal advice. Your situation is one that will best be served by hiring legal representation.

This is too complicated to try to explain in this type of forum. Basically, you should consult with a local attorney to set up your mother's estate so that title can be transferred to you. Consult with a local attorney.
