Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I was sleeping in my apartment with my fianc and three year old child on night. I was awaken by a knock at my door. This startled me because I don't ever have company at my house. Especially at 3 a.m. I could not hear what the voice was saying nor could I see face. They continued to bang and ask me to open my door. I immediately call the police. My fianc calls the on site office. I stay with the police on the phone until they arrive. When they get here I open the door and 10 police officers rush in with flashlights and guns out! They asked me to put my hands up and have a seat. Both my fianc and I are complying with their demands. They ask me my fianc for her name, and how long she has been living here. They also ask her to grab both my drivers license as well as mine. She complied. They ran both and came up cleared. The person they were looking for was name Monica. Apparently a previous tenant. The on site officer told them that there were new tenants and that person does not live here any more. However the still insisted on coming into my home scaring my fianc, my three year old daughter, and myself. My fianc suffers from post traumatic stress disorder from a previous accident. She is now suffering from re occurring panic attacks. I know they did now have the right to do this. What rights have the violated?
