Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
My son paid for half my home, but isn't on the title. How can I add him to the title quickly and inexpensively?

Quickly and inexpensively, find forms somewhere on the internet and take your chances on the results. Correctly, get a lawyer to draft the appropriate deed (which is based on more basic facts that you provided).

My office would be happy to handle it for you. Call me at 404-768-3509. I'd need to see the current warranty deed, any loan deeds and a present or past property tax bill. The fee for the appropriate deed and PT-61 computer filing is usually very inexpensive. (I'd also discuss with you any pros and cons of doing such a transfer).
