Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Hello. My stepfather passed away in Trinidad in 2007. He and my mother (U.S. resident) owned property in Virginia. My mom passed away in 2011. I am executrix of her will. However, I need to put to record his exemplified will to take ownership of the property. Can I get an exemplified copy of his will from Trinidad if I'm not the executrix of his will?

Since you posted to Georgia lawyers on a U.S. site I doubt you'll get an answer. Your Virginia lawyer, whom you need to deal with that property can probably research this for you. Realistically, you need to ask a lawyer in Trinidad. It's likely simple and cheap but you need to call a lawyer there.
