Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia
A tree is rooted on my property 2 feet from the line. It arches over the property line and the majority of the tree is over the neighbors property. There is a swing on the tree over the neighbors property, however when the swing is in use it is possible for someone to swing over onto my property. I am pretty sure I could just cut down the tree but the neighbor has asked me to leave it up. Could I be liable for an injury from this swing?

It is hard to provide an answer, since you don't mention a single detail about who put the swing up, who uses it, who maintains it, its condition, etc. People can sue for anything. If you are concerned, and the swing stays, make sure you homeowner's policy covers any liability or lawsuits.
Possibly depending on details you did not give us.
