Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Utility company destroys treeline

The local utility company desimated two trees in my front yard and also tore up the yard in doing so. Finally, the company that did this damage left all limbs and debree laying where they cut it. All I can say is you would not believe the pictures that I took. I think that the trees will probably die. Can I pursue any type of legal action for destruction of property?

Probably not. They usually have the right to remove obsticles to the utilities they service. If you check your legal documents that apply to your property, they probably have an easement around the utility lines.
