If my husband dies before I do am I eligable for his social security benifits?

I would like to know if my husband dies before I do , Am I eligable to recieve his benifits? We have no children together. We have been married since 1993. I am not hoping for his death but I would like to know my rights as his spouse.

You don't receive "his" benefits; you receive a small stipend as widows benefits based upon his benefits. Check with your local SSA office for calculations and numbers.
