Hello,
My mother died 3 years ago in November, and my sister has been contesting the will and it is 99.99% in favor of me. My questions is I have been spending my own money to keep my mother's property functioning, roughly $9 - $10,000 per year. My questions is can I and if so how can I take a tax deduction on this money?

This is probably a better question for a CPA than an attorney. A good question for an attorney is whether or not you can get reimbursed for your out of pocket expenses to keep the property functioning.
Best of luck.******The above is for informational purposes and does not create an attorney-client privilege.*******
