Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
Under 21 years old driving restrictions
I am 20 years old and reside in the state of Georgia. I recently received a speeding ticket for exceeding the limit by 24 miles per hour over. In municipal court, I was informed of only a $190 fine and no other penalties. As a result, I plead guilty and paid the fine. Three weeks later I receive a certified letter in the mail informing me my license have been suspended by the state and since I am under 21 a limited driving permit for work and school is not available.
Is there anything which can be done to either get my licenses back or at least get a limited driving permit?
