Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
I need some advice..I got a ticket for illegal left turn in Fulton County '$195 & of course i dont have the $ for it' I didn't see the sign {at the time of the ticket} "NO LEFT TURN" (and it was dark & late) Because basically the sign was facing I think the wrong way "as in instead of facing you while driving; its parallel to the road look you would see it if you looking threw your passenger window" [I notice in a google maps picture & Im going down there today to get a picture of it] can I plea no lo or ask the judge to please throw it out due to the sign issue & that Im not reg driver threw that area of town or something like that... please help.. thank you

The things you mention may be a defense or in some courts help with a fine. (Many courts will allow you to pay off a fine via community service or over time, and some courts may, if you have a clean driver's history, reduce the fine or charges if you do defensive driving school).
Since you say money is limited, I'd suggest spending $35 on the Atlanta Bar's lawyer referral service for a consult (you can also do an internet consult on my website glenashman.com for $39.95 - we can discuss a case anywhere in Fulton County, except East Point) or you can do a paid question here on LawGuru to get more guidance on how to present your case. It is possible that the small amount you spend for a detailed consult may save you money in court.
