Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
I was cited for the move over law in John's Creek, Ga. I live in North Carolina. In 40 years of driving I have had 3 speeding tickets and no at fault accidents. Can I plead no-contest? How is that different from a prayer for judgment?

No contest just means you will not get any points on your license. You have to be present or have a lawyer represent you in order to plead no contest. The tricky part is what NC will do with your charges once they get there. A GA atty can tell you what happens to a GA license, but we cannot advise you what will happen to your NC license. You really should consult both.
