Following too closely
Is it the law in Georgia that the person who hits someone else is automatically cited for following too closely?
If someone believes they were not treated appropriately at the scene of an accident by the responding officer, to whom should he/she complain?

It is not automatic, but normally if you strike someone from behind moving forward, you were following too closely.
