can a county police officer give you a ticket in the city limits?and what are the jurisdiction limits for county and city police officers

County police have jurisdiction anywhere in a county, regardless of city limits.
City police generally have jurisdiction only in a city, although in many counties counties deputize them so they can also act elsewhere.
