Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia

i didn't go to my court appearance because my vehicle was broke and my appearance was 6 hours away. But when I looked at the date again it was imossible. It was written to appear on Feb 18th, "2010". It is "2011" If it actually went through is that a valid argument. They made the mistake.

If you thought it said 2010, anyone else would have called the court in advance to sort that out so that probably doesn't help you as much as you'd hope. But discuss it with your lawyer (and yes, you need one).
