Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
My friend lives in GA. He retained a lawyer w/$5,000 7/15. He was waiting to hear from him but never did, So he called to inquire about his case. At that time he found out lawyer died in Sept. He was never notified. Now what happens with the retainer since the lawyer never did anything for his case? Who should he go to? Could he file something towards estate yo get money back, or is just out $5,000?
