Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
Can I hold anyone else liable?
July 6, 2006, I was involved in an auto accident which put me in the hospital for, also had caused a crushed and a fractured vertebrae. I had turned down a dirt road with a 20 foot clearance and meet a chicken feed trancfer truck that was taking up the whole road. I had managed to miss the transfer truck but ended up rolling my vehicle. My understanding is that the company rules state that he should not have been on a dirt road that does not have chicken houses on it. There are no chicken houses on this dirt road at all. The transfer truck was taking up the whole road. I also have pictures taken when the accident happened. Do I have a case? I may have to have surgery on my back.

You need to contact an attorney. You have a case and it sounds as if you need help.
Re: Can I hold anyone else liable?
Billy,
It seems the driver of the truck has some culpability for your injuries. Georgia is a contributory negligence state, so they would likely defend the case contending you were partly responsible. I would really need more facts before I could give you a complete answer to your question. If you would like to give me a call, I would be willing to help.
Sincerely,
