Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
I am on probation for paying off a ticket that I received for driving with a suspended registration. I was told by my probation officer today that if I did not pay off my remaining balance today, that I would have court on the 25th and if not payed by then I can also be arrested at that time. I wanted to know if I payed half of it would that still be reason for me to be arrested even though my case doesn't close until the 22 of August?

If you are behind in payments a probation officer certainly can seek a warrant for your arrest. A payment of less than what is required doesn't prevent that. You can and certainly should talk to your probation officer. Some may work with you if you take the inititiative, but you don't get to dictate the terms.
