Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
I received a traffic ticket for expired tag 10 days after my birthday, got the renewal the day after receiving the ticket, will I still have to pay the $100+ citation for this?

Georgia law required you to renew by your birthday, not 11 days later. The penalty set by law, besides a late fee, is a criminal fine of up to $1000 and up to a year in jail.
Most courts have a set fine for this that is well less than the $1000. Some courts might fine you less because you eventually did get the tag, but it would not usually get dismissed in most courts.
In future years, renew on time. It'll save you a lot of money.
