Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
I recieved a speeding ticket for driving to fast in a school zone during the stated time but the sign also said "When children present". The officer said that only applies on non school days, my question is: When is the reduce speed in effect, during the time stated every day or when there are children present like the sign stated?

Usually during a day when students are out of school, the flashing lights are turned off, however even if school is out for the children and the lights are flashing, you should obey the signs. Sounds like this may be a call for the judge to make.
