Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia

speeding ticket versus PJC

i recently got a speeding ticket traveling through baldwin georgia. i called the courthouse to ask about my option to use a PJC, but they had no idea what i was talking about. i don't know how a PJC works. do i still have to pay the ticket fine? are points withheld? are PJC's available everywhere? and is this a good option for me?

Re: speeding ticket versus PJC

You can plead under another OCGA code section to avoid points. But no PJC in GA.

Call me and I can talk to you 404-664-6176.

I don't believe that Georgia counties use a PJC.
