Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
I want to know how do i go about suing someone? My Sister lend me her car to drive one day not telling me that she didnt have any insurance. i get pulled over and got two tickets. We both went to court and the Judge gave me two years of probation and my fine was over $2000. She has not been helping me pay my probation and i feel like im paying all this money and it really wasnt my fault. My sister knew she didnt have any insurance but didnt tell me.

So let me get this straight -- your sister is nice enough to loan you her car. You violate traffic laws, resulting in you getting pulled over and ticketed. You blame your sister. Is there something wrong with this picture? Seems everyone was at fault but you. It's time to take some personal accountability!
If you drive, it is YOUR obligation to make sure you have insurance. Even though the judge gave you 2 years of probation and a nice fine, apparently the message still hasn't gotten through to you. Please do yourself a favor and don't file a lawsuit against your sister -- aside from permanently damaging your relationship with your sister, you will lose and it will cost you money and more headache.

How do you plan to sue yourself. This case is completely YOUR fault.
When you drive a car, YOU have a duty to check the insurance. You didn't. A judge punished you and you still won't take responsibility for your crime. You are a criminal. You committed a crime.
I haven't even addressed the other ticket, which is also your responsibility.
If you file a frivolous suit against your sister, besides ruining a family relationship, she can then collect friom you costs and attorney's fees for a frivolous suit.
Phil and Glen are right - GROW UP and take your lumps like a MAN, son!!
You sue your sister and it's more proof that you have failed to take responsibility for your own mistakes - you violated the law when you did not check to see if there was insurance and you violated the law when you got the traffic ticket while driving and the officer ask you for your license and registration and found out vehicle was not insured (by the way, what was the other ticket for, DUI - SPEEDING ? - I suppose that ticket was your sister's fault too -- GROW UP)!!
Good luck and get a life
