Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia

Hi, today a friend was driving my car to work while I was a passenger. While approaching a light behind another vehicle, the light turned red while the vehicle in front of us was blocking the crosswalk. A crossing guard approached the vehicle in front of us while telling the driver of my car to move back. When the driver of my car saw that the crossing guard was motioning him to move back, there was a car approaching behind us so he couldn't move. After the crossing guard went around the car that was in front of us to walk the kids across the street, she then proceeded to take down my license plate. I would like to know if I get a citation for this offense, what are my chances of taking this to court?

If and when something really happens, deal with it. Of course no one can guess what will happen in court for something that has never happened.
