Legal Question in Traffic Law in Georgia
I travel home on I-75 north late at night from work to my home in Kennesaw, GA. I notice that almost every night I travel home that there is usually at least one person pulled over in an approx. 8 mile stretch. Furthermore I have noticed that the police constantly stake out the shoulder, overpasses, curves, etc. in marked, but black police cars. On top of that they do not leave on their parking lights and if shooting radar outside of the vehicle, will also shut off the interior dome light making them impossible to see until you are right up on them. There are also no street lights to aid. I am originally from North Carolina, the entrapment laws are very clear: from the time of dusk to dawn if an officer is engaged in any kind of speed trap, DUI checkpoint, etc. They must have their parking lights on so they are clearly visible. On top of that, the NC State Troopers are responsible for the highways, NOT local/ county police like I have seen here in GA. Please help clarify this. I do often times find myself going a little fast on the way home from work, and in the event I do ever get pulled over I want to know my rights. Thank you!

I'd suggest you comply with the law. Obviously no lawyer can advise you on what you asked - which is how can I get away with being a criminal? (In Georgia, speeding is a misdemeanor punishable by fines and in some cases jail).
Everything you stated is absolutely fine under Georgia law. There are certain rules for how and where you do laser and radar but nothing you posted violates those rules.
