Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

how do you get a child's part after a parents death

my mother died one year ago and i was wondering if I'm entilted to some of her estate? My father is currently splurging on the inheritence. I have never seen a will, I'm not even sure if she has a current one. He got all the life insurance, 401k, stocks etc. What are my rights?

It is impossible to answer your question without at least a phone consultation. Many questions need to be addressed. I would advise you to ASAP contact a local attorney. If you are in the metro Atlanta area, please feel free to give me a call. If, as you say, your father is rifling the estate, all the more reason to contact an attorney immediately.
