Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia
When my daughter was injuired in a car accident when she was younger, my attorney advised me to put her settlement payments in two parts one when she turned 18 and the second at age 25. She recieved her first payment when she turned 18, and now she is 19 and she wants the rest of the money. How can she get it?

No one here will be able to answer you. The lawyer who set it up can answer. The answer (and whether she even can) depends on how the settlement was worded.

I don't any in particular, but I understand there are companies around who will pay you cents on the dollar for future settlement payments.
