Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

We have a dog that belonged to my sister, in her will all tangible property was left to her daughter. My sister asked us to take care of the dog in case of her death. Her daughter wants the dog. We would like to consult an attorney to see what our options are. What type of attorney should we see. We live in GA. the daughter lives in FL.

If all of her property was left to her daughter, you need to give her the dog. Under the law a dog is personal property. You have no case. What she orally asked does not supercede a will. If she wanted you to have the dog she had to do that in the will.
