Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia
Estate Property
Along with my other 6 sibblings we allowed my brother to be administrator of our parent's estate. I presently live in the family home. We also gave him permission to get a loan against the home and property for house repairs. He borrowed 6o thousand dollars an amount way over what was needed for repairs. About 20,000 of that money was actually used for the repairs and withour our knowledge he used the rest to start a business. Now we find out he is delinquent in the payments and we could possibly loose the house. Because a letter was sent to this address from the lawyer we found out about the possible foreclosure he is unaware that we now know about this situation. Is there anything we can do as a family to prevent foreclosure on the home even though the note is now in his name.

Re: Estate Property
Consult with a local attorney. ASAP. There be a way to stop the foreclosure but it is too complicated to discuss in this type of forum.
