My sister died about 3 months ago she left no will and 2 small children she was not married at the time of her death. What I need to know is how do I go about becoming executer of her estateand how exepensive is it.

Since she died without a will, the person in charge of her estate will be the administrator. You will need to file a petition in the probate court in the county of her residence at the time of her death, seeking to be appointed as such. I would recommend that you consult with a local attorney.
