Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Executor delays selling home 7+ years

My father died, then stepmother 2 years later in 2000. Her eldest daughter is executor & is not able to manage duties so her husband is handling in her name. They have distributed investment dollars to children & personal items, but have not yet put now-declining home up for sale after 7 years. What recourse do the inheriting children have if any?

They should go to a lawyer, who may, depending on facts, need to file something with the probate court.

You need to consult with an attorney ASAP, and I mean the all-caps as meaning ASAP. Legal action needs to be taken to both stop the illegal distribution of assets but also to preserve what's left.
