our family lawyer has passed away. we cannot get in touch with anyone from his office to get a copy of my mom's will. his name was Steve Harrison from McDonough, Ga. can you help?

Continue to try and see if you can track someone down from his office. Try showing up at his office during regular business hours if necessary. If that doesn't work, call the State Bar of Georgia for guidance -- (404) 527-8700.

I echo Mr. Cook's ideas. You might also ask in the Henry Superior Court clerk's office and see if anyone there has any ideas.
