My father died, how will this affect my familys inheritance from my grandfather
My father died recently and was one of my grandfathers 3 sons. I don't know how my grandfathers will reads but wondered if his part of my grandfathers inheritance will come to my mom and my sisters. My grandfather is 91 and doesn't plan to update his will. If all of the inheritance goes to the living brothers do we grandchildren have any rights to the money that would have gone to my father if he were still alive.

It all depends on how the will is worded. A stardard question is "if one of your children dies, where do you want that child's share to go?" The answer determines the language in the will.
