Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

My Father's Will

My dad has died last Sept & left a will. In the will it states ANY money should be split between his 4 kids..

I went to court & got me as the excutor. My aunt was the excutor. She got an order from the judge to send all the stuff back. We had a court date setup but she did not show instead sent a letter stating she was signing off & wanted no part of it. [The letter was from her lawyer].. My dad also let her as benificary for the life ins b/c he told me should would do the right thing by splitting. I was young when my dad did all of this. Now my aunt is not following my dad's wishes & stated she is keeping the money & she is not doing what he wants with it. There is more to the story just thought i would give a briefing. I want to know if there is something that can be done about this lying snake in the grass. Thanks for all the help. Have a very nice day. Waiting on a reply..

Re: My Father's Will

Insurance money belongs to the beneficiary ubder the policy. It is not and cannot be divided under the will if there is a beneficiary. If your dad wished otherwise, he messed up. This is not something that can be changed once he died.
