Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Georgia Will, but resident now lives in Alabama

I was once a Georgia Resident and had a Last Will & Testament recorded and file in the state of Georgia. Now I am a Alabama resident. I need to know that if I die as an Alabama resident, will my (Georgia)Last Will & Testament be valid and enforcable in the state in which I live or do I need to re-do the entire will for whatever State I reside in.

If the attestation in Georgia compies with current attestation law in Alabama you will be fine. Generally, there had to be 2 witnesses who were present at the time and saw you sign your will and they signed your will after you signed. If that occurred, you are ok.
