Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia
Insurance Policy
My husband passed away in February. He as a 33 year old daughter who is in the will to receive money from a Insurance policy in the event of his death. 3 or 4 years ago he cashed in that policy other than that I (spouse) am heir to everything else.
She has been in a lot of trouble and I expect her to protest the will. Can she get anything if everything is willed to me?

It is difficult to answer a questions like yours outside of an actual attorney client relationship. One thing is sure, if the daughter does file an action to contest the will, you will need to hire representation.
Re: Insurance Policy
Since we haven't read the will, there is no way to assess its validity. If the will is proper, you may have no problem, but there is no way to answer that here. You need to retain counsel to handle probate. If you're in metro Atlanta, call my office.
