My mother and sister are co ex of my

fathers estate. My sister is giving my mother a really hard time in the way the estate is being taken care of. Is there a way to have my sister removed as co ex?

Is it worth a legal battle and thousands in legal fees (that may be paid from the estate) for mom and sister to fight in court because one or both are giving the other a "really hard time," or is it better for them to work it out? If there is no lawyer for the estate, that may be the first step in having someone keep things on track.
