Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

mother's will

Mother had a will. A note was found specifying certain items to be given to someone else. Note did not refer to dated will, nor was it witnessed or notarized. The will states that ''in the event a memorandum shall be found with this will which distributes my personal property, etc. etc. The note was not found with will. Is this note legal as part of the Will?

Re: mother's will

That would be a question of law for the Judge or Jury to decide based on precedent in other cases. Some legal research would have to be done. Hopefully, the Executor and heirs would want to honor their Mother's wishes.
