Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia
I have still not obtained all the proceeds that were awarded to me in my final divorce decree. I am preparing a new will that includes my new husband. Do I need to specifically state that he has the authority to pursue and obtain the money that I would still be owed by my ex husband?

It might be very helpful to do something along those lines, depending on the wording of the divorce. Typing divorce and wills together is not a do-it-yourself project, and you definitely want a lawyer to draft appropriate language.
Resolving both a pending divorce action that we know nothing about, and certainly telling you what to put in a will is not appropriate for this board. Speak to lawyers about both. A DIY will is a great way to burden family after it is too late to fix.
