Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

parents estate

i do not know if my dad has a will, my stepmother has not filed one with probate, she keeps telling me dont worrie about it he did not leave me anything. How can i find out if there is a will? I have no idea who he would have used for an attorney. If there is no will am i entilited to any thing. There home is only in my dads name, does that make a differnce? Do i have any options?

You absolutely have options; however, discussion of them is outside the scope of this non confidential forum. Your best option is to hire an attorney to represent your interests, which will let your step mother know that you are serious about seeking truth and fairness.
