My father had a ruptured aneurysm, and in ICU. basically in drug induced coma, and may be for weeks or possibly not survive. but has bills that need paying, and has told me in front of friends that i should be the one to take over if something like this ever happened, but did not get around to writing it in a document. how do i get power of attorney since he is in no condition to speak, much less sign a document? he really has no assets, only a vehicle, so how do i go about this? i have sblings, but both are addicts and in no shape to to handle these matters? thanks, Teresa
