Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

Could be a problem or not

My grandmother passed away owning over 100 acres of land. She left the property to 8 children in a will. The property has yet to be distributed because one child (power of attorney) has it up for sale. One of the older children has since died. What happens to the deceased child's part ? Could this become a problem if the deceased has children and the land being up for sale ???

Re: Could be a problem or not

You should consult with a local attorney. Since there is a will, no child has the right to put the property up for sale. An executor or executrix, pursuant to the will, must be appointed.
