Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

replaceing and Execator/Trustee

In a quite complicated Will, The executor/Trustee has not given any information to the Sole Heir of the estate. When the gentlemen's father passed away, the Ex. was out of the country. The son buried his father and waited of the Ex. to return. After the Ex. returned he immediately locked the son's fathe's home and told the son that his was not allowed to go in the home until the estate had been completed. This has been going on now for the past (5) months and the Ex. has still not given the son any information about the estate, etc. He has not provided him with any living expenses, money for food, for medication for a life threating illness. The man simply won't provide any information. Needless to say, the estate is rather a large one and the son is at a complete loss. His cousin is listed as an alternate Ex/Trestee if the existing Ex. would not be able to deal with or would not be able to do it for some reason. My question is. What is the best way to have a ex./trustee removed from an estate so the alternate ex. can take over.

Re: replaceing and Execator/Trustee

The heir should consult with a local attorney about a petition to have the executor removed.
