Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

What are my rights

My mother in very sound mind wrote a will in the 80's leaving everything to be sold and divided equally between 4 siblings. In Aug of 2004 we were told she had demenita and should conduct any business by her self. After getting a divorce, sister moved in with mother and in late 2004 or early 2005 talked my mother into deeding her house to sister so the nursing home could not get it if she had to go into one. Mother died last of September, first of November sister sold house and refused to honor the will saying that she deserved everything because mother put the house in her name. Do we have any rights? By the way she threw the copy of the will Mother had away.

Re: What are my rights

Although you say she threw away a "copy" of the will, if the original can be found, it can be submitted for probate. At any rate, you may have a case for breach of a trust relationship. You should consult with a local attorney.
