Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Georgia

My sister passed and her will says everything goes to her husband and to the estate, but she has 3 IRA's and her son is listed as sole beneficiary, does her son get the IRA's or does it go to the estate. They live in Georgia.

Part of your post makes no sense. A will can't leave something to "the estate." So since your post does not accurately state what is in the will, it is very likely that this answer wil be less than helpful. You should repost with the exact facts, and bear in mind that when someone dies, it is imperative that the executor see a lawyer ASAP.

In most cases, the designation of a beneficiary in an IRA means that passes outside the will, so barring other errors in your facts as posted, the IRAs would go to the son.
